Budo's lilies

They have gone like witches
Burned alive at the stake-
Tied alive on wooden poles,
Set ablaze with burning torch.

As if they had sown some magic
Some deed wicked and tragic-
Now condemned to the fire
A mortal payment for some mortal sin.

But they were only children
No architects of plots grand and deadly,
They were students of goodness
Not rebels of some senseless sort.

They were your children, your kin
They had your blood, your skin
How come you let them go alone
Away from their distress, far gone?!

You slept in mazongotos
They were like slaves in triple decks,
You forgot what kawuukumi was
They depended on it for protein.

How I want to condemn
Yes, tis you I want to blame!
For the blood screaming as it boiled
For the bones breaking in the fire.

But I will kneel and thus pray
For the lilies swiftly away,
For the kin and heart broken parents
Going through pain and unknowable torment.

May the Lord heal hearts
May the sadness soon depart
May forgiveness flow like rain
May the healing blot the stain.

To err is human,
To murder is beastly,
To forgive is divine
To love is Godly.

So they have gone like martyrs
Sheep without need to defend own lives
Heroes confident in the One they trusted
Not afraid to die for purity of heart.

Rest in Peace.

Good Lord.

Well, the Lord is good in the land of the living. Good news. Emma Laura got a job, now that's good news. The Basic Dinner is this Saturday and peoples are excited. I thank God am about to clear. FLAME feat JR-Smile- now that's a good song. Anyway, I think the Lord is amazing, I have seen His goodness and I am amazed. Am waiting for some dime to appear and I am sure it will.I am happy or is it joy. A release, a freedom feeling. God is mighty good. Just dropped in here to say I am still alive. Have ideas of a play but time is tight for me. I don't know. Should I do a novel or a play or perhaps an Odyssey like thing. Anyway, love you my reader. Take care. God loves you, He is mad crazy about you.

Catholic Answers

It is a pity that with more literacy and more availability of Christian literature, the same body which tried to keep the Word of God marked out only for leaders still tries to keep people locked in dependence on them.
Confession. The Roman Catholic Church’s interpretation of Holy Writ suggests that when people sin they must confess to “Priests” who are the leaders and if not must stay out of communion.
First, consider 1 John 2:1, “My little children, these things I write unto you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”
John gives all brethren a confidence in Jesus; His sacrifice was such that He is our Priest before God, our advocate. In 1 Timothy 2:5 Paul makes this clearer, “As we all know, there is only one God and only one Mediator between us and God, the man Christ Jesus.” Clear as crystal, He is the way to the Father.
Why then does the Catholic Church prefer that men must first go through their “Ordained” and not necessarily “Anointed” priests to then advocate to Christ (and sometimes through dead saints then to Christ) who then advocates to God, the Father?! Why such a long line of intermediaries when the Word says one mediator? Is that not double work?
Consider then 1 John 2:12 “I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake!” We are forgiven not for anything else but for His name’s sake! He wants you forgiven, not condemned. And whether you believe it or not, God forgave us all already of every sin, His work is done now what counts is whether you dare believe it and come out of condemnation and receive His grace.
Not only is He our advocate, He also says we are forgiven! Double assurance! Joy! Assurance in a rock of ages not man.
Since the Catholic priesthood looks so much like the olden Jewish priesthood, I must point to Hebrews. when Christ and the old priesthood are compared, Jesus comes out much better than the old Jewish scheme. Jesus, not the earthly priesthood is the way to God. Observe that in Jewish law, (Heb 10:11) every priest stands daily ministering and offering frequently the same sacrifices which can never take away sins.
However Jesus, Heb 10:12, after He had offered ONE sacrifice for sins FOREVER, sat down on the right hand of God.
So, why waste time through a priest when you have one who is more certain (not forgetting to mention the Holy Spirit who dwells in you). Confession to a priest should be voluntary not a sacrament or requirement to be forgiven. If the Church says God is always willing to forgive sins, is He only willing to forgive those ones confessed through Catholic priests? A God full of grace? Is that believable?
Now, when Jesus told His disciples that they have the ability to forgive sins or refuse to forgive sins, would you think Jesus was implying they have the right to not forgive? Was it not the same Christ who died for the sins of the whole world so that everyone could receive forgiveness? It is God’s nature to forgive, because He loves, we are in the same way expected to forgive because we have been forgiven.
It was Jesus who told the parable of the man whose debts were forgiven and then refused to forgive his debtors. This man was imprisoned again for the injustice he had done. Jesus requires us to forgive; you do not honestly have the right to not forgive.
Further, there is no distinction between small sins and big sins. Does the Catholic Church not know that Jesus’ new dispensation is holier than the old? Anger is equated to murder, and looking at a woman or man lustfully is equated to adultery! If we claim murder is grave, and yet have been angry at our brothers, we are still murderers. Jesus has taken care of the bondage of the law. Why come out of bondage to go back into it?
We are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8) not of ourselves- rather it is the gift of God. Confession of sins will not save anybody; the only confession that can move us from death to life is the confession that Jesus is the Lord of our lives.
Paul urges us to stand in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and not to be entangled again with the yoke of bondage. What bondage is it he talks of? - The bondage of the law. The law is like a mirror which could not clean your face for you if it were dirty. We needed more, a savior. And gladly, Jesus is that savior-that liberty, that freedom to enjoy God without bounds.
Through Him we have access by one Spirit unto the Father. (Ephesians 2:18). Going to a Priest is even going too far, the Holy Ghost lives in you, He is God’s presence in You;- I do not think He is blind or deaf.
Now, controversially. I am not a sinner anymore! Yes I was once a sinner and still have the propensity to sin but my nature has changed; John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, “Verily verily, I say unto you. Except a man be born again, He cannot see the kingdom of God.” We are born first physically, then when we accept Jesus as our Lord and savior we are born a second time, this time we receive a new Spirit. A new nature
After Adam sinned, the sin that man committed did not make him a sinner, rather a man sinned because he was a sinner. In the same way with the nature of the second Adam, Jesus, I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Sin is no longer imputed to me rather righteousness is! My nature dictates my actions not the other way round. I enjoy God more easily when I am aware He calls me righteous, not by my work but by the finished work of Jesus Christ! Rejoice with me as David did in Psalms 32:1, 2 “Happy is the man who knows that his sins are forgiven and that his mistakes will not be mentioned. Happy is the man whose wrongs the Lord does not hold against him and who is accepted as if he had never sinned.”

Pause

Pause. For all those in the North
Pause. For the stranded in the East.
Pasue. For the naked on the street
Coz life is meaningless if you're living it alone.

Pause. For the babies abandoned.
Pause. For the one with no home
Trying to find a niche
When it rains at night.

It ain't right to just look by
Drowning the thought of concern
In a sec or moment
You know tables can turn.

Pause. For those in pain
Shouting for help in a hospital bed.
Pause. For the mother in black
No more tears to cry, after the last son died.

Pause. When you sleep in a warm bed
Think that God spared you the cold.
Pause. When your swallowing that piece
Thank that you got food on the table.

Pause. Every now and then
Never let your passions take your mind away-
Simply put this way
God is the reason that you're blessed today.

( Pray for those in the North and East, the orphans, the homeless, the poor who live on less than a dollar a day. You spend 10 a day. The people you pass by on the street, didn't chose that way... so think about God today. Better yet, do something about it today.)

Why bother Sevo?

Why bother Sevo?
I do not by any means hate homosexuals. No it s just that what they do is what is very annoying. HRW Human Rights Watch sent an open letter to my main man Sevo accusing him of homophobia as well as abuse of human rights. These guys want us to accept any kind of sexual orientation!! Mbu!

When the UN starts to poke its nose into affairs of small countries like Uganda isn't it poking its nose into our sovereignity? Do we not have rights as an independent country? Can any country impose its constitution on ours?
Ekibi these guys feel they can rule the world. I mean homosexuals!

Aye, I am bothered about why they came putting on masks for their conference the other day. I am still amazed. Bin Laden is one brave guy, shows his face! So if these guys are not afraid, let them come out in the open and we treat them knowing who they really are!

Me and some friends were talking about homosexuals, and we decided that the homosexuals should be put on an island as well as the lesbians- NO!! Not together, separately! Like that movie where they were putting clones on one island. Yeah, they will have freedom and will not bother anyone, neither will we bother them. I wonder of they will be having any children? (Pause) I really do not think so!

The thing here is, homosexuality is a corruption, kind of like an addiction- alcoholism, masturbation, drugs. It is not right, just that it messes up with the nature and the mind starts to believe it is impossible to break free so starts to accept it! That is not right, anyone with such a problem needs help, counselling and the like otherwise they will believe it is okay.

We love people not what they do! God is the same way. Well if you do not believe in God perhaps you agree that for any thing to have life, two opposites must meet. Get me? I am pro life. Homosexuality is deadly because it slowly by slowly wipes out a race coz there is no procreation!

Anwyay, I want Uganda to be independent in its decision making. We are the last hope in this dark world. When we fall, perhaps Jesus will return immediately!

Heterosexuals, I love you. Homosexuals and lesbians. I love you too but hate what you are trying to accept is normal for you. I read this on a t-shirt yesterday

" Image is nothing, Christ is everything. Obey your God". Cool Huh? Take care.

A new day

Today is Monday and I am on my way to work. Yesterday was quite a sad day for all Uganda yet I do not seem to understand why. After Cranes thrashing of Niger 3-1, it would have been automatic qualification had South Africa not lent a helping hand to their neighbours Zambia with 3 goals to guarantee them a berth at Ghana.
So Ugandans are sullen but not I. There is one spot remaining and it all depends on Benin and Sierra Leone when they match up on October 14th. Of course many would say that Sierra Leone having conceded 12 already without a point is set to concede more but I am convinced this is our year and we are going to Ghana. If Mali and Togo draw and Benin win then we are through. So all we need is a draw on the final day.
Enough of soccer.
So I was sent snaps of PrimeTime on my email and they were so many i failed to see all of them. I have been thinking of late. There is still a need, a present one. Conquering self is still hard yet it must occur.
As a single man,....by the way i am soon moving into the house behind the main one. Eh! Cool. Some bit o independence. I was saying as a single man one must count the costs of becoming double. I have looked around and I think I may as well continue enjoying the life. No dependants! No decision making! I am joyed that I am still single coz there are no issues in my life. Of course times come and I wish that i was not single but then again, I must encourage myself to go on til God opens my eyes. Now that is one other thing. God and I, we need to catch up. Five days and I feel weird, man cannot live without God coz it really is miserable without Him, sure, I am a witness.
So my life goes on, work and all.I know something good is going to happen, something precious, wonderful. God is in control, I hope a time can come when He is totally in control of my life coz there are times that are not easy and I want to take or actually take the steering wheel from Him.
So, her i am still believing Uganda is going to Ghana, thankin God for my singlehood and asking Him to help me by grace stay focused on Him and hooked on Him.
All is well.
God bless. Joel

No to the lie of Homosexuality!!!

I am so perplexed that when Uganda as a country decided to make a stand against homosexuality, we were labelled as homophobic! My goodness!!! Surely the world has lost it! I never thought I would agree with the muslims about anything but I think i agree that the world as overly become too secular! I am so vexed that the so called "WEST" attach strings to their generosity! Why should we bend backwards coz of their money? I am proud of Uganda as the only country which has stood up against homos and their lost ways! For your information we know all about your scheme against us. First you give the Church, the custodian of morality a bad name by writing all those stories, imputing the mistakes of counterfeits upon the real church and afterwards applausing homosexuals! We are tired.
Let me say that if you are homo and are reading this, you need not be deceived! If a few thieves in society say their practice should be legalised coz of innate nature, what will become of society, murderers will come out and say the same and then the world will lose it!
Uganda has already lost a war against the law of adultery, where are morals going? I am behind Nsaba Buturo all the way, infact, I believe he may be the only minister doing something in his ministry.
It is common sense for a pencil to write on paper, for paint to cover a canvas, for man to relate sexually with woman in the right way.
I ashamed that intellectuals who should know the simplest things are the ones encouraging the silly things. A child is more knowledgable than many I know.
It is not a human right for a man to sleep with a man, it is simply sickness. And Europe and all your friends, we do not want your bad manners in this land, keep them. We are blessed already!
I am not homophobic, coz that would mean i am afraid of something. I am not. I am disgusted, vexed- in total disbelief that what God outrightly condemned is accepted. You homos are children of the devil, I have evidence. Read this: Romans 1:17 to the end

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them.

Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

So if the homos who came out claim to be children of God, I am sorry, He gave you up. However, He does not want anyone to perish. He has a way out- Jesus. Accept Him as Lord and Saviour and you will change, the devil is a liar, we all know that- you were not born like that.

The reason communism became widespread was that these guys bombarded the message, it first met resistance but soon it was truth. A Russian intellectual once said a lie that is said consistently sooon becomes truth. Beware. We love homos but are disturbed when the lie gets them so fooled.

I urge all to do what they can to stop this lie of homosexuality. We love the purity of our country, and do not want God's wrath to fall upon us. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed mainly coz of homosexuality.

Join the victory against this evil.

Hope interred

It's okay,
Answer me with silence-
Make me the unseen ghost
That makes you twitch in your sleep.

It's okay,
Answer me with silence
The number you need not know
Te name you need to forget

It's okay
Answer me with silence
You're not testing me to trust
Just you turning my peace into dust.

Saying goodbye,
To the you I knew before
A rushed hallo
To your new beginning.

I take the blame,
I'm the one sick with shame.
Exhausted, tired of believing
No wonder I'm the one jaded.

I will count as you walk away
The dreams that you take away,
It is well with my soul
Hope finally laid to rest.

Though my hope interred in history,
The future awakens the contrition
But I shall rest in belief
That life starts anew.

Schisms of hope and fear
Finally put to rest
Maybe after three days
I will raise this heart again.

weekly transmission

I wish there was on-line delivery services for kikomando and rolex!! I am so tired I don' want to move from here. Worse still, and go to Wandegeya. So I am here with a mighty journey to make coz a friend o mine wants rolex and is too reluctant to get it. Anyway, why am I whining? What are friends for?

So....I guess you want to hear me say that I am through with the project and can go home.b.l.a.n.k. What you want is not always what you get. Am still here on campus, with my group mates trying to finish the baddest project yet to be seen in Africa!! And we say we are undergraduates, we are good enough to be masters' students. Anyway, the code finally waw worked on, and i guess we shall have something wonderful to present to the panel come next week. Isn't that good news?

I should be at home or in overnight. I can't be in either place, why? We were with our supervisor till like 8pm and I am not the type who likes to fight for taxis home so I abandoned that plot. Overnight- I am so tired i doubt that I would have spent a single second awake, okay I know that is a lie but still, I am so tired!

God answers prayer, believe you me, in His perfect timing. I met a friend who knows me and the friend I was moving with quite well. So guess what he asks? Mbu are we married? Can u believe this guy? Yes he was ignorant, now I feel like I am spreading a rumour. Why? Coz the lady a was with is simply a friend- yes I would have wanted more but friendship is perfect. So, she must be thinking I am so obsessed...cannot take a simple NO!

How would you deal with missing the bachelor's party of your mentor? Every answer deserves a blog visit, don't you think? Coz a friend of mine did and I kinda feel am to blame, coz of the pressure of "finish the project on time!!!"

Anyway, perhaps I must go and buy that rolex for my friend. Tomorrow morning I am going home, to feel the house my dad has built for me...

ANd she is hangin out with a muslim...i ain't hating here, just questing---is Christ a joke for many of us? A song without heart?

And my ramblings go on...

aww mush

Guess what? Chris Benoit is dead. The other famous short wrestler who almost had no neck ( or is it kneck?...lol) Anyway, he was found dead plus he and his son...google that up, coz am now switching subjects.

So on Saturday we had a dinner and guess what- it was fun; at least everybody enjoyed it. Ok....stop prying, i did not enjoy as much as I would have liked coz the guests we had invited ( and this still annoys me) did not come, and their so called rep did not come either...so i was movin around, checkin on how people were. Although I got to be guest of honor coz the real one was not around, i did not get to spend as much time as i would have wanted with my date...and she was so beautiful, aww mush!!!!

Man!! What do you eat and what do you not eat at a dinner!!! I need answers! I wanted to do like 3 rounds but i only got as far as one! My buddy said, never do matooke...another one became carnivorous, as in he ate everything meaty. And his plate emptied at the end.

Otherwise, the project has hit another oba unexpected event? Now, our supervisor wants us to do something like the Dijikstra...and I ain't even ever done mathematics... Okay, ever I have but my best mark must have been a 70%, and that was phenomenal for me, back in s.4. You get my drift?

Iwaya. Thanks. For reading my blog. I think I write more now coz of your encouragement.

Benoit is dead!!!??? (I am more shocked than wondering) I was reading and found that some wrestler called Owen Hart was killed in a wrestling event. So, who ever says mbu they are acting....

I am now tired of campus, really- except that there is lady who causes me to have a reason to stay. If she ever reads this...tanks.

If i start about ladies, my complaints won't end so i better go back and find wat to do.

Guess what, those rumblings i had last time? Never materialised...I left my blogspot for the lies of sound

nothing serious

It is damn cold this morning and I forsook my jacket so am here waiting to get to some place warm. I wish the rapture would occur now, there is really not much to live for, maybe just to escape from but not to live for...and there goes the rumble in my tummy. Guys, see, i love to blog but circumstances like this force me to leave in the middle of it. Later...

Christian brethren doing secular zikii...

okay, at first it was minor, nothing of great imjportance but the rate at which I see more Christian brethren getting into the secular world the more confused I get. I asked a question at a party one time; "where do you think Jesus would be if he were here now? at Ange Noir or at Miracle Centre?" and I still do not know what to think of the answer. Okay, there are few names i know- Switchfoot, altho no completely secular, I hear skillet okay all these are rockers but i was shocked when i learned that Stacie Oricco's Beautiful Awakening is a secular album! Courtesy of Virgin records- not Christian i say...

young, yes she is- easily convinced?- maybe...am not judging. just need answers to the phenomenon.

Life goes on...in more than one weird way...

A failed attempt, dwindling finances, unkept promises, missed appointments blah and more blah. Life goes on in more than one weird way!

Deadline after deadline. Last breath after last breath. God is good. More time to finish the project. I just want to leave campus, I am now getting tired of it. Stress from all sides! Heart breaks here, work loads there, people everywhere. When does one get time alone? There was a day I just wanted to evanesce, to disappear, to go somewhere and not be found!! To be alone, by myself...to cry out tears- to shout out loud, to scream on top of my lungs...but I could not. There were people; people everywhere, no privacy! And where I thought I could get peace, maybe some joy, I discovered I was misunderstanding and not being understood the way I would have liked to be understood.

I do not want to feel stretched by the successes of people around me, but most times I can't help but notice. The other day I was musing, " I should be laughing at all my misfortunes but, it's not funny..." Sometimes I want to fly away or maybe just fall and not land, to be in a state of perfectness but how I have failed. The problem is that when one fails once too often, then he becomes aware that there is something really wrong with him! Take me for example...

So I said, what is better? A glass half empty or half full? I can't help but think that sometimes philosophy is for the young at experience for sometimes wise words even fail to make sense! Yet in all this, there are things that keep me on form- God, and laughter. God keeps you aware you have a purpose and that there is a good thing comin tomorrow. Laughter keeps the heart at ease.

But I must tell you that when you hear of heart broken peole saying food is no longer delicious and tea is not sweet- believe them; they are telling the truth. How do I know? I have been there. Food becomes hopelessly plain, something you just swallow!

Have I not said too much?

Questions are pending. someone can help me answer them;

*how long does one have to deal with failures in hope of success?

God cannot break His own rules.

Hey God-loving people. How are you, hope kool. It's a Sunday morning and silly me with all my troubles I should be in Church not on the internet; yet i feel i need to be here.

I read the comments about my last post and i feel as though something is not right here... What I mean is, God cannot break His own rules.

Case1: God could easily have revoked His " you eat the forbidden fruit and die" commandment to Adam and Eve, but He didn't- because He is a just God. He loved them but had to abide by His onw laws or else He would be untrue to Himself. He respects His laws. What kind of God would it make Him if He was not consistent?

Case2: Samson. Was he not such a great man of God? However, when Samson got himself into trouble, God could only do as much as He was asked...the last strength to drown the Philistines. He loved Samson yes? But His love does not make Him overlook his justice.

Which leads up to my point- Since God did not want man to take the burden of sin, coz that would mean perishing for everyone, He had to find a legal way to redeem Him. Not just come tell the devil "sucker" singe him and make people holy, no! He had to send Jesus, in the form of a man, to live like a man, to die as a man, to burden the sin of entire world- so that justice would be done.

Jesus died once, and He cannot die again. Sin is forgiven once for all time- past, present, future... Blessings are inherited from Christ once and for all time, curses cannot come unless you let them. (Heb 10:10 And what God wants is for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all time.)

God is ever consistent. Like the statement most people use to justify loss, mbu by God!! Let us examine.

Job 1:21
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

But consider this next scripture

Jhn 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.

We blame God for the devil's work and claim we are super spiritual! Man, God gives, He does not desire to take away- When He gives, he does without repentance...read below.

Rom 11:29
For the gifts and calling of God [are] without repentance. KJV. 29 For God's gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.(NLT)

For example Saul, did you observe the wisdom of David not to slay Saul when he had the chance? Yes David was the annointed King but so was Saul! Saul would be King till he died and not by David's hand.

Consider God after saying that Jesus carried away our sickness laying boils and sicknesses on one who had believed in Him.

2Cr 1:20
For all the promises of God in him [are] yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

He says all the promises. Are yes and amen. That means if you scroll down to Deuteronomy where all the blessings were laid down- they all belong to you in Jesus Christ. (Deut 28:1-14--Blessings for Obedience
"If you fully obey the Lord your God by keeping all the commands I am giving you today, the Lord your God will exalt you above all the nations of the world. 2 You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God:
3
You will be blessed in your towns and in the country.
4
You will be blessed with many children and productive fields.
You will be blessed with fertile herds and flocks.
5
You will be blessed with baskets overflowing with fruit, and with kneading bowls filled with bread.
6
You will be blessed wherever you go, both in coming and in going.
7 "The Lord will conquer your enemies when they attack you. They will attack you from one direction, but they will scatter from you in seven!
8 "The Lord will bless everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
9 "If you obey the commands of the Lord your God and walk in his ways, the Lord will establish you as his holy people as he solemnly promised to do. 10 Then all the nations of the world will see that you are a people claimed by the Lord, and they will stand in awe of you.
11 "The Lord will give you an abundance of good things in the land he swore to give your ancestors-many children, numerous livestock, and abundant crops. 12 The Lord will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens to bless all the work you do. You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them. 13 If you listen to these commands of the Lord your God and carefully obey them, the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always have the upper hand. 14 You must not turn away from any of the commands I am giving you today to follow after other gods and worship them.)

God is consistent. He will not break His own rules.

Back to Job and Paul. Job in his distress said God gives and takes away, Jesus on the other hand (God himself) says it is the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy.

Divide the word -
2Ti 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

We are in the new dispensation of Grace, not law.
Rom 10:4
For Christ [is] the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Eph 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God.

Grace through Faith.

God breaking his own rules makes him inconsistent, unfaithful, and a liar which He says that He is not... consider the statement you made.

Friday, June 15, 2007

a thought.

The Holy Spirit inspires Paul to say divide the word of truth...where is it applicable, where is it not? If the Word says he became a curse so I may be blessed, how do u get that? means you are not under a curse, coz Jesus became it so that you may become blessed. Being cool with poverty is like saying, it's okay, if God wanted me to be sick, in debt, under stress, hungry, naked... Maaaan....Isaiah 53: surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.Isa 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

You must be blind not to see that Jesus came so that you may be free.

John 10:10 The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but i have come that you may have life, and have it more abundantly--- get it? What does it mean to you?

thanks.

T-Bone T-Bone
Bone-A-Fide (Flicker)
Released September 2005

Sounds like … a wide variety of hip-hop cats and crews such as 50 Cent, G-Unit, Jay-Z, the Black Eyed Peas, Terror Squad, Run-D.M.C., and the Ying Yang Twins, among others.

At a glance … exceptionally produced, this is the most ambitious album T-Bone has ever made, but it might also be viewed as his most "boastful" or " self-centered."

Track Listing

Who is that dude on T-Bone's album cover? Could it be Ernesto "Che" Guevara? No, it's T-Bone himself, doing his best impersonation of the late Fidel Castro aide. Now, before you start thinking he's making a case for communism with his newest release, Bone-A-Fide, think again. Like Guevara, Boney Bone Corleone may be a revolutionary, but his mission is quite different. This self-proclaimed "lyrical assassin" wants to stir a revolution and destroy the strongholds secular hip-hop has secured in today's media-saturated culture.

To do this, he enlisted the help of Louis "Buster" Brown (Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams), one half of famous production team Buster & Shavoni. T-Bone makes music for a mix of races—black, whites, Filipinos, Latinos—and Brown similarly steered this project in as many directions and traditions as possible. As the executive producer, he called on other renowned producers—the Avila Brothers, Darkchild's Fred Jerkins, Warryn Campbell, Bosko—and together they helped T-Bone make his most musically ambitious project to date. Bone-A-Fide, as a whole, sounds great, and it has nothing to envy of other projects coming out of the mainstream market.

The most noticeable change in T-Bone's style is how he trades his West Coast methodology for the East Coast sounds of G-Unit, Jay-Z, and the Terror Squad. As a pop-rapper, it's certainly an inspired move for him, seeing how the West hasn't produced anything as commercially viable in years, confined mostly to underground circles. The problem with this switch is that he tries to be too many things at once, and the short attention span can only get him so far with those who would prefer he stick to one persona. The emcee does prove quite versatile, channeling the Beastie Boys in one track ("12 Years Ago"), a tamer version of Lil' Jon & the Eastside Boyz in another ("Shake Ya Body"), and the playful raps of Eminem after that ("Bounce"). By the end of the disc, one is not sure whether he's resorting to flattery of these pop idols or simply imitating them. But it sounds good, and at least he—or his producers, rather—should get credit for that.

But that's just the start. T-Bone tips his hat to nearly everything that has proved successful and popular in the pop-rap realm. Besides bringing on the crunk in "Shake Ya Body," the guitars and introspection of "A Few Good Men" evokes early Black Eyed Peas. The biographical "I Have Been Looking Around" looks to two sources of inspiration, namely Kanye West (for its sped-up soul sample) and Jay-Z (for the flow and the way he talks about his past as Jay did on The Black Album). Gangsta rap is represented in "It's OK," a cut worthy of a 50 Cent or a G-Unit album, lazy flow and all. Elsewhere, T-Bone offers his best version of the Terror Squad's 2004 hit "Lean Back" in the blazing "Follow T," except T-Bone glorifies self as opposed to the hustling and pimping the New York crew does.

Wait, T-Bone glorifies whom? Yes, amidst all the exceptional production tactics and on-point beats, it's impossible not to dismiss the countless instances in which T-Bone pats himself on the back for his considerable skills, accomplishments, and possessions. More so than previous albums, Bone-A-Fide is intent on letting us know T-Bone was nominated for a Grammy, that he had a feature role in the movie The Fighting Temptations, that he's talented at the microphone, and that he drives a white Mercedes with "chrome spinning rims." Check out these lyrics from the aforementioned "Follow T": "From sold out arenas to the silver screen, I move crowds and drop hits that make the people scream… [I] stack cream… get chauffeured in stretched-out limousines… Bone is hard as it gets and I don't fly first class. Why? I travel with chefs on private jets."

Is it really necessary to let listeners know that T-Bone enjoys all these luxuries, or is this his own gospel-rap version of prosperity gospel. It's the same lyrical technique preacher-turned-rapper Mase used last year, and it backfired on him because many rightly thought his newfound love for Jesus and his outspoken love for mammon were two mutually exclusive things. T-Bone does oppose the sexed-up, violent nature of hip-hop ("Let That Thang Go"), but he doesn't do anything to decry its materialistic excesses.

Bone-A-Fide is an extremely well made album, and there's no question that T-Bone loves Jesus. But it's tough to see him reflected in the rapper's music when many of his themes are centered on talk of "stacking chips and pushing whips" [i.e., making money and driving nice cars]. According to reports, T-Bone recently finished work on an MTV film in which he stars alongside R&B princess Ciara. The movie hasn't released yet, but who knows for how many albums we're going to be hearing about it. T-Bone is clearly a capable lyricist, but I wish he wouldn't try so hard to prove it.

Amy thing will do...

musically confused, lyrically obsessed ad spiritually determined. THis is how i feel about the music of Evanescence, particularly Ame Lee who is the main soloist.vocalist.
I was reading ChristianityToday.com and found out that actually Ben Moody and Amy were friends who were Christian youth campers. As in you've heard of Campus camps in churches, blah. Well, and their music sounded so alluring- made one fall for Jesus over and over. Then the f-bomb as ChristianityToday.com put it, Ben and AMy denied their music was of christian genre yet Wind-Up records their label had sold their music to christian stores, recalling after the interview with Entertainment Today. Why deny Christ? Their record was a good one, i have particular faves, like bring me to life, tourniquet etc. It just makes me feel ....yet their album is not consistent.
Moody left, Amy broke up with Seether's lead Morgan, etc of tragedy. In her Open Door (oooh, the title sounds so Chri...ok i won't say it) she looks like all is messed up, needs a higher power, oh how i wish she wd just become committed and do great sounds like tourniquet. I love rock, Evanescence was going to be the best Christian rock i heard, then they denied it after claiming (by selling their music to Christian stores) they were not assoc'd with the genre? Money? Fame?

COuld they make up their minds and stop beating around the bush?

Meanwhile, deadline for project is next week. Shd be through by Friday, then August i graduate.

"Campus Life, March/April 2007

Are They or Aren't They?
Answer by Mark Matlock

Q. I'm a fan of Evanescence. When they first came out, there was debate about whether they were a Christian band. So are they?

A. According to lead singer Amy Lee, any possible Christian content from Evanescence's 2003 Fallen album came from former guitarist Ben Moody. So how does she now answer the question, "Is Evanescence a Christian band?" She recently told reporters this: "Can we please skip the Christian thing? I'm so over it. It's the lamest thing. I fought that from the beginning. I never wanted to be associated with it. … It's over. It's a new day."

We need to take her word for it. They aren't a Christian band—meaning a group that makes music with the intention of worshiping Christ and/or spreading his Word. Their lyrics—as Amy says—aren't written to glorify or praise Christ. But it's impossible for us as outsiders to know what's going on in the band member's hearts. There are hints of hurting and searching for meaning in their songs. And on The Open Door's liner notes, some of them, including Amy, thank God. One member thanks his Savior Jesus.

So, we shouldn't consider Evanescence a Christian band, but what should we do with them? We should pray for them. And if their lyrics of lost love, brokenness and seeking bring you down, then try Christian bands Plumb, Gretchen or Skillet.

the last days.

These are the last days and no, i do not mean as of Jesus coming back to marry us who are His bride/Church. I mean these are my last 30 or so days on the beautiful hill of Makerere as a student.

Here I am and i have finally managed to grow a moustache and now i can witness strands at ny chin. Oooh I am so happy!!! Not only that, I have come to the realisation that I must leave home and look for a life, i mean a wife; sorry!

Naye, these three years have really been... I have learnt so much in three years, about God, women and other people, as well as my profession. You see, you will find that though women came out of man, they are altogether different (didn't need a brain scientist to figure that out.)

I am not worried. No. Not about a job, a wife, a home and else coz all those things i already have. check the Bible. I have made friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did i ever tell you that from p1-p3 it like i had no friends? I was not really the popular guy. But look what God has done with me on campus- i inspire, mentor people!!! I am grown up.

I am looking forward to August when I graduate, after which I may pause reading books. Anyway, free net on campus, free rooms, free supper ( though, it is not every person's desire), almost living for free.

Aren't I happy am grown up. These last days I shall savour.

Mabira

Fading Negro

How can I be proud
Of a nation arrogant and loud?
Worshippers of race before heart
Those who murder the innocent in cold blood.
Eh Africanism Oyee!
*"Nze obudugavu mbupoye!"
I will not rejoice with a nation
That merries at the death of another.
Tell me to get real-
But am sorry I've lost that zeal,
Innocent blood has been shed
On account of clogged heads.
Is it not "For God and My Country"?
Shall I kill because of unfair bounty?
I thought we turn the other cheek
I thought we forgive and forget?
Check yourself. Are we really Ugandan?
Are we the ones who glory in death of others,
Are we so vengeful we don't think
About the trouble spilled blood can bring?
My Uganda is warm,My Uganda is calm
So where is this nation?
Are we tranced by hatred?

How many times do we see the west getting caught up in such racialist violence? Are we not experienced enough to know violence does nothing? Why should people lose innocent lives? Is Africa known for thinking with matchetes and sticks and guns amd not their hearts and brains? Should we not be so ashamed of such a thing?

Over the roof.

I am quite pissed off by what happened in Nateete yesterday and I am quite sure i know who is responsible for it! Can't people ever understand that the price of blood is blood? God save this nation!

Meanwhile, Vday (not the sickening monologue incompetence) passed without much ado, all i did to celebrate it was put on my fave red shorts. Now for surfing in labs, this thing is goin to restart in 3 minutes. and i can do nothing about it.

c ya later.

YAGAYO!!! AM BACK!!!

Okay, for those who even take time to comment, this is good news for you. I have made up with Blogger and am back to posting blogs as usual. It had kind of become complicated for me but now that is not a problem.

And another reason for my absence is that school has been tight. Exams, courseworks and tests all at the same time; moving on from break-ups and trying get new catch's; running from eyes that think I'm a hunk- it has really been hectic dear people but here i am trying to catch up within these two weeks before we get back to campus.

My team happens to be on a roll and one can only imagine where we can end up at such a rate- eh Young Guns Oyee!! Yesto's match was thrilling, not so much for the victory over arch rivals Bolton (when did we start dating those losers anyway...?) but Gilberto and the Beast managed to score over the goal... unbelievable. Okay, most of you do not love soccer so...

So me an' my single issues. People, i do not understand why I am still single and worse, i cannot understand why I am not able to be single. Okay, do not get me wrong. I am single just that I do not want to be but I cannot help not being single.

You see, some close friend of mine actually said that I am very good at being a good friend coz all those I would have thought were ideal candidates to end my singleness all ended up saying all they wanted from me was friendship. So I am wondering, am i ugly? Perhaps a lil bit slow or too short (no offence here) but...where is the problem?

Meanwhile, some friends of mine broke up and it kind of hurt and suprised me at the same time! Ugh. It hurt me, an' i cannot really explain why- but they were supposed to get married!!!! Ugh!

Second sem is starting in one week, that means my campus life slowly draws to an end and i am all thinking about the next step in life. God, a fiancee, a job, a house, a wife, a promotion, a kid and more life in God, in that order. God remaining a constant as always. Then more life.

Oh, can someone please employ me!!!!

It is getting late and dark, I do not sleep in cafes, so since there is no power at home or internet, maybe i should leave.

Feels good to be back.

God bless.

back...

Oh has it been loooong!! By the way you can imagine I am still apprehensive of resumption of MUK activities. Not because I do not love to study, I jus don't like being stressed. There is some hommie seated at the main gate mbu hunger striking for the "gov't to open the campus in three days". Bro, this fella loves to sound like the beloved Messiah... This is the same hommie who let dwn his fellow reps by not doing anything to support campus "politics" and was known only in these cbs and radio one "people's platforms".( I av forgotten the local names). Anyway, is he trying to redeem self?

Cece Winans is coming to Uganda! Good news for some of us. Tell u a crazy story? Once had a crush on some chic called Priscilla. Now, if u havent noticed, i am called Benjamin so i used to day dream of Bebe and Cece... coz Cece's a short form for Priscilla, and Bebe...well u guessed it.

Am only still looking for a 10/g - note given being off campus restricts one's parents from supporting day to day activities like dates, Papa San concerts etc.

Meanwhile we have leaks saying we are returning to campus on 3rd and shall start off with exams. Holy....oh--blasphemy! Sorry, I shall see a counsellor to help me handle that shock!!

The keys of this keyboard are so hard you could cut diamond on them. Oh!! 1 more thing that makes off campus life a hustle...

Da dam. Okay, what a way for the week to end. As others were emptying themselves and becoming more miserable, some of us were filling ourselves with good things. Yeah, get ma drift. Let us not fight about PAM awards and Papa San, no, the truth shall set you free. So on Sato, we marched as you noticed, through tawu peku Kololo airstrip breaking the shame that comes with abstaining. Yah, someone must talk about it! Sex is morally wrong outside marriage but do guys care anymore? Yet when someone says that they are virgins or abstaining, a barrage of insults follows! Why should we who are doing the right thing become ashamed of it yet those who are doing the wrong thing be proud of it? Look at the Gay pride marches!!! spit! Anyway, you guys missed coz there was a brother named Lukus Simari from Boston who was with Papa San ( and this Jamaican can flow) who blew us away with his quality voice and hot beats! Guys, look for his music! infact check out his web, http://www.lukussimari.com/ . Now Papa San! Talk about from rags to riches! From the world into the scripture! He is the fastest flowing person i have heard so far and he knows how to work up a crowd. He was over heard saying that the last time he was in Uganda he was at Nile Hotel, still a sinner. But he praises God that as part of his desire to go wherever he was before to undo stuff that even now, Nile Hotel changed to Serena, it is new, and even he himself has changed! Man!! Ebyo nga bikyari awo, Ps Martin Ssempa launched with Hon. Mary Karoro Okurut (On behalf of the 1st lady) the Abstinence Pride flag as well as the marriage flag to become global symbols of pride and strength! UCU was there, Gayaza Junior and Senior was there, CERUDEB supported. I cannot forget Isaac Rucci, the guy of Limit X whose love for music has never died out. Man it was the bomb! I do not want to hear about PAM, it is of no heavenly importance. "I said I hate yo beeps, mayb I can handle them, I don' like yo texts." That was what a long time friend said to me. Funny ha...! I can remember a line in Will Smith's song- just the two of us- "someday some girl's gon' break yo heart, and oooh! aint no pain like from the opposite sex..." Anyway, made me think so much... but ai will handle.

what a week-END!

Away from you

Away from you
Unbound by you,
Untouched by you
Unshackled from you.

Away from you
From the scales on my eyes
From the dust on my skin
From the pain in my heart.

Breathing lightly again,
I can quench my need
For the fullness of the smell
Of the air that I breathe.

Laughing again,
I can stare at roses and lilies
And gape at butterflies
Without hurrying on with life.

Away from you
Alive anew,
My heart glows love
Away from you O World.

psalm 151

Yo, i guess this gon' be the saddest i have posted since. But man am not feeling my self anymore. There is so much discouragement against me, against what i am doing , against what i want to achieve. Ever since Thursday nite, I feel so lonely. I feel the burden of BASIC on me, alone. My heart cries wounded when things do not go down. Of late i have had friends who are reclining from me coz i do not fit in their group altogether. I do not like masked faces. I wish people would just be honest. I do not want to be judgemental but most times i catch myself. I am a believer, and love believes all, hopes all, endures all, bears all. I want to love. I have been encouragign people of late but now I know it is time i listen to the Holy Spirit because He is the spring of life within me. I cannot depend on people, God I cannot, I need to depend on every bit of Your word, so help me dear Father. So much is planned, things are not going through but I know that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. I love you Jesus. So it is in times like this that I cry out, SAVIOUR, EMMANUEL, thank you because it was finished! And I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Blessed be your name o Lord.

GOD BE PRAISED!!

now, this is my life ths week. two tests on the weekend, two meetings, invited for three graduation parties...so far and want to go for youth service on Friday at KPC. What shall become of me? Man,  this three days have been quite enthralling, i have had one lecture so far, missed a practical of a lecturer who claims she informed everyone about it and well excited coz school stops today till next Tuesday, well..yeah except that i have two tests this weekend!!
God is good, if i must remind you. On Monday during powerpoint(MCC CELL- makerere community church cell) there was a prayer request from my friend Allen who's cousin's wife was over due. Now since we have been taught faith i felt a fire in my Spirit to pray as we finished, okay there were many other prayer items and i was given another but i also prayed for the induction of labour pains. Now we prayed, believed and then spiritually received. So yesterday i meet Allen going to Timothy Class(discipleship class in MCC) and she breaks to me news of how her cousin's wife gave birth!!! I said GOD IS GREAT!!!!!
PRAISE HIM!!

Christ's dieing on the cross. If you look at it from any point of view, it was because of love. Extravagant love for his creation. That we may begin to walk in the blessing and not the curse. Oh, for the cross. I thank God.

EMMA Kato won a rally last weekend altho' now i seem to forget the details.

A friend of mine came back from mOROTO and well he is also graduating next week. He told us of how God saved his life through a dream. He dreamt the car he was travellin in would be ambushed but did not take it seriously. His main concern was to reach out to certain neighbours. so the conviction was so great he delayed his trip and guess what. The driver called him up later on that day and told him how their car had been ambushed by warriors...!! Is God not good to his beloved?

We began doing tests and man do i have an issue with reading. I always read a day or two before the exam. What can someone remedy?

Can i crack you up?

Last Friday we went for door to door ministry at Grand Hostel and as you may or may not know, this is a ladies' hostel. Now for me and my companions we only encountered one brother who was on the case of one sista- you knw Friday nytes and how it works when you are not born anew-for us yo' its a good nyte for a nyte of prayer. Anyway that is not the point.
My colleagues amused me and said that most of the rooms they went to had guys in them!!! I was amazed the more coz they actually led one brother to Christ, in a ladies hostel!! Glory.

I was contemplating on my single hood. I remember i already asked God for someone but maybe that was not the right time. I am like my life seems more interesting without the focus on one chic. As in, God is much more in focus and i was like maybe this cd be for till i die...Waaaaah!!! I want to get a beautiful gurl, marry her and we make 'babes'. No pun there. Marriage talk! I was at a reception and it reminded me i am a man now, with a moustache tho almost inconspicuous, it is visible. So i have to move and make some important decisions.

love u guys.,

money

i need money.

sorry 4 bein away

You see in a love realtionship, both parties have to show something lest one thinks the other is cheating and decides to leave. Now i was greatly discouraged after all the posts that there was no single comment! I gave myself a break, anyway am back.
Friday was an amazing day for me coz it was one of those days that make you thank God, you are Ntwatwa. So I was supposed to lead brothers into a meeting with a high profile leader in the Church-MCC but because I was registering, the show down never materialised. Spot; I left my place and went to FCIT with the hope of registering before Lunch. So, i joined a line which i knew was correct. Patience is one of the fruit that manifest in my life these days, so altho' the line was not moving because of an irritatingly slow lady i kept my peace. Nga a sister appears out of the blue with attitude and demands a place infront of me(was it behind?) Anyway because i walk in love i was good 'nufff to surrender it. So nga we keep on chilling then these guys decide to just say, "eh, it is already lunch time, we have to go. We will be back at 2:00pm sharp!!" Aate me a Christian brother, i took her word literally and sacrificed lunch hoping 2pm i wd be shooting off for the rendez-vous. Did they appear? Their 2pm apparently is 3:00pm so we started off again. I tho't i was smart, i was number one on the line, but when this madman.. i mean madam came she sat away from my line and so i was there angulating my hand for the chic to please deal with my papers. Nga she finally takes them. Now when i th't all was good, she assures me, boy you got an original exam permit, take it away! Brothers and Sisters, if not for the peace that passes all understanding, i would have fainted or cried like some chics earlier coz the line was thick at the front and how wd i reclaim my gwa? But i new God was faithful. At that time i had only 400/- in my pocket that i could use and i was praying that it be enuff for the photocopy and by His grace it was. So i go back up. I ask some brother for space to reclaim my gwa infront of the other sista who i gave a place but was he budging? However sometimes things move by force so i slowly by slowly forced and again i was at the front infront of the sista! Then another trial appeared. The real officials came and good enuff for me, he ordered a line behind me. So i give him the docs. So he first assures me " i am not going to waste time with people who do not know how to fill their forms, which year are you?" and he throws back the form at me. I say. " okay" i have a ball point. I wrote on all the three copies and hand it back to him. He goes through asks for my bankslips and i assure him, am on government! He looks offended! And asks for my ID. I pull it out and hand it to him; " It is not renewed? Why didn't you renew. Is it because you are on government?! Go! Go renew it!!" Now I was shocked!! Renew my card, now?!!! Where? How? I did not move after all what does Psalm one say about people like me, we shall not be moved. I prayed to God and stayed there, assuring him how that was an impossible feat. Now my systa who now was on my right was also getting her forms verified and he asked her for her card. Now sistas are miraculous if not witty. So, she pulls out her wallet, acts as though is pulling out a card. In the mean time the man is dishing out comments to other people as he signs her forms. So by the time he finishes signing them, the card is still in her wallet and he has apparently forgotten he asked for it. So she moves away, leaves me there standing int he might of the Lord!! Now God is faithful coz sincerely that aint no treatment for a son. Soon, he gave up his ways and signed my docs and leave the line at around 3:30pm! Now i see the sister standing there and ask her if she got back a form for herself and she said yes. I asked if she had signed and he said no. So we proceeded to the place for signing and we did! Now this brother must have had an issue against government students coz as i was signing i was signing angularly and he said " you, you are disorganising the line, because you are a government student you think you can disorganise the line? Go away and let others sign first." Obvioulsy i was finishing and by now was cooking up a hearty laugh. When i encountered the systa again she laughed and assured me how worried she had got when i was being rejected coz i had an unupdated card.
Now apparently this sista is my friend so she had a problem with her shoe so i pushed her to CCE to get her shoe fixed. As we were movin she realised mine was worse, mind you i do not love buying shoes so i had kept this particular pair for 3 years, since first year i mean. Oh, she was like brother you gotsta get a new shoe and i was bugged till i decided to go get a new one.

Guess wat. My man Emka did it. This year is really favouring me via sports. For those of u who thought Emma Kato was a joker-eeh winning oyee!!

I felt i should inform you fellas. October 28th in the secular world may mean something awesome in Uganda but for us who believe that God has meant for us to wait for sex till marriage, we shall be participating in the Global Abstinence Pride March at Kololo Airstrip and we shall be privileged to have Papa San. Come and walk with us.

I had two tests last Sunday, a bit hard but i dealt with them..lol. see u around.

didn't i tell you?

UGANDA 3 LESOTHO 0.

Now, whoever was doubting that at times change is good- that my friend is a very good example of what change can do. Our pros can actually score!!! Oh, that's why they are pros in the first place. Man am i happy we won that match and such a margin. I know we are going to beat every team which lands here and even away. Man African Cup of Nations is in our grasp this time.

Meanwhile, campus is getting tough. assignments, and stuff, if it wasn't for Jesus...

man, don't have much to holla today, so God bless.

morning my neighbour, i love you

Man, did you heard? Out of Eden my favourite gospel groups decided to call it quits and pursue their individual interests!! Wow man am gonna miss them. Talking about ziiki. Bobi Wine, Bucha Man, Bebe Cool, Chameleone, Titie have a case to answer. Why? hmmm? Why proclaim to be born again and go on in the same spirit of the world? You think going to Church is some kind of ritual for blessing? You see, people who love the praise of man better than the praise of God usually end up in kayasi! Take a look at Saul! Me am not impressed, infact i do not think practising Christians should even be encouraged to buy their music! Am i sounding like a fanatic? Brothers, for those of you who love soccer, guess who is playing in the match against Lesotho today? Jackson Mayanja 'kawoowo'. Oh my God, i was talking with some people and they think Csaba must be some crazy kinda guy. i believe he is going to deliver, because i have believed for vicotries in Kampala and we shall have them.
Guess what! I am resorting to packing lunch. Seeing that these faculty guys have put lectures at times when it is lunch time, i am also packing my lunch. I have no time to go back to Nkrumah to eat the last of the meal-usually beans, or just peices of meat, actually many pieces of meat. I am only wondering where i will get this food from int he morning, Campus food is expensive except that at KK. not KK Beach Ggaba, but kikumi kikumi where you can have food of two hundred ugandan shillings- for example Yams for 200/- and soup( mind you soup is free)! hehe!! Campus is wonderful. My God have you seen the curvings or whatever ont he new library!!! 'kumansula' in action. I suggest they replace the picture of the girl coz she is too revealing for a clay creation.
I have looked for comments on my blog in vain man, its like i am doing this for myself man. ANyway, no biggie. am enjoyin it. Christ is big in this shizzle.

typos

guys am sorry about the million typos in one of the posts i sent. i will surely be more English next time i write. Eh remember my friend, the one i said i wish she had not come back... i take that back coz we are moving on well by God's grace. so i will be here later.

is typo really an English word?

bonna bagagawale

It's a wonderful thing to be a campuser; of rolexes and late night suppers, liquid suppers and early morning lunches. Wednesday is a wonderful day becuase it's got 5hr lectures straight from 11am to 4pm. I do not know what these people think, because we are now in third year so they can beat the hell out of us(if we indeed all have hell inside of us) and make sure we prepare for unlunching days. I felt whoever designed the timetable feels as though most of us(Christians) are not fasting and so he comes up with a timetable to induce it. Praise be to God. I have an issue with bloggers who tend to use derogatory words in trying to put forward their emotional offsets. It reminded me of this movie the MAN by Samuel L and some other funny white guy. The guy was getting fed up, because Samuel L was always saying the F word. so nga the white brother decides to give him help " for crying out loud". whenever he felt like saying the f word he would say "for crying out loud". Try it, it may help.
And the Red Pepper guys should just be ignored because they are what is referred to as a tabloid! I cannot believe they have the audacity to accuse Pastor Kayanja of such heinous doings! But that is what is expected, like you cannot expect a snake to unbotheringly walk(oh, they cannot walk) okay, slide past you without spitting some hate(poison) so it is with the media-just be in a position of greatness. I can only imagine what would have happened if there were tabloids when King David ordered the killing of Uriah and then slept with His wife! In the same way the media craves for such things and you wonder how it is going to help the country. It is like Hon. Kadaga and her prostitutes, how can an immoral issue get precedence in a country's parliament while people are hungry, poor, uneducated and the likes. Because it has been there for long does not mean it should be legalised. It would mean legalising theft, corruption and the like...(am thankful they haven't yet put forward motions for those things...Glory to God). Now, bonna bagagawale...yes, all should inherit the Kingdom of God where your riches are not in danger of corruption and cannot wear out.People try it, infact accept the to become the King's son/daughter and you inherit the Kingdom- how easy is that. No documents, no applications just a prayer and heart and you enter.
Big ups to my hommie Nsaba Buturo, God stregthen you.Kati i have a report to print and hand in. later skaters.

changing place of worship

so , i finally remembered i had a blog. but it came as an idea from someone who i must have been boring. see i have these writer friends and i keep on emailing them stuff. i think he was tired of me emailing everyday....nahh!!! anyway, i am finally finishing my report which is due friday, mind you today is wednesday. a friend of mine with whom a lot of events have happened came back and it is not good for me, i wish i had not prayed for her return coz now how will i concentrate? not the point, i am happy Kony has given up his murderous ways and as surely as the Lord is love, once he asks for mercy he shall get it. Now which God is like my God?! Talking about that, the teacher at the resource center i go to at campus declared that a condition for attending his class shall be being uptodate via Cover 2 Cover a devotional that goes throughout the Bible chronologiacally. Hear me out. so i stopped reading the book a long time ago, i found i could not keep up and decided not to pressure myself after all it is by grace. i have been reading the Bible and had also read the book before. I do not know what to do, i think i shall finally tell him that, so if he rejects me it will be good for me coz i actually want to join another place of worship. I already have a teacher who is very informed. I will post here again about how things have changed ever since i joined the church and why i want to leave, nothing personal, purely spiritual.
had the chance of talking with an Old gal yesto and she really surprised me. Here i was thinking that she was a quiet shy melancholic like me, yet we talked and talked. I did not want to leave coz the conversation was so enthralling but i had to, it was late and i was in a girl's hall and she had been typing her report. Well, she kinda put a smile on me face. Hey, i better finish my report. later.
